Condensed Carol Life Drawings Round 2

One Minute Life Dreawing

I really like doing the one minute sketches as I can sketch quickly, and I like how the composition looks with all the verise poses. I used condensed charcoal and it makes a much more defanit line on the paper, where as regular charcoal would take a longer time to get the shapes in quickly. 

Felt tip Life Drawing

I wanted to try using some colour so I used some felt tip pens. Some of them had stamps on them which got me existed so I used the heart one for this drawing. I tried using the side of the stamp sometimes instead of just the whole thing to brake up the colour. I think it worked well and the whole drawing gives a sense of embarrassment or bashfulness. 

I also tried taping two colours together to make this almost old school 3D look. I think this gives the drawing body as it makes it less flat. But it was pointed out that I should try leaving move empty spaces and suggesting fomes instead out out lining everything.

For this one, I taped two felt tips together again, but I tried drawing it in a wavy, swirly style. I really line the excretion I got and it reminds me of old Japanese line art.

As I draw pretty quickly, I tried different styles with the same pose. As I used watery colours for the wavy one, I deaised to use earthy colours and do a more cubic/rigid drawing. It was very inaccurate, but I think it made a good contrast to the blue one.

Ink Life Drawings

I enjoyed using the ink as I like painting with bold lines. I also tried using the ink to sajest shape instead of just out lining everything which I think worked well. Sometimes they got too dark in places as I would forget to wash down the ink first or not realize how much in I put on. But once it dried it become much lighter so I could have worked more into it to define some more of the shapes in the sheets on the chair.

Condensed carol drawings

This was very hard to use are once you make a mark with it you cant rub it out, so you really have to know what your doing. I do like the darkness of the condensed carol but I'm very used to marking where I think things go and fixing it after, so the proposition are off in these drawings.

The angle of this one was very hard to draw but i think i got it in the end

One Line Drawings

5 minute one line drawings from deffrent classes
I found these kinda hard as I had to draw in the lines with only an idea on where the lines should go, so it looks out of proportion mostly. But it also looks artsy so i like them
